WHAT IS OMUNGA?
OMUNGA is a social entrepreneurship that believes in all children, no matter where they may be. They have the right to a life with more freedom, autonomy, and decision-making power.
That is why we have traveled to extremely impoverished distant, outlying regions in Africa, the Amazons, and extremely arid regions in Brazil to provide the means to build libraries, distribute books, and train teachers to enable readers.
And you can help thousands of children have their first contact with books through OMUNGA!

The OMUNGA Project in the Amazon
Two thousand children have had their first contact with books in the Amazonian countryside through the OMUNGA Project in the Amazons.
BETANIA DO PIAUÍ - PI
The “Sertão” School Project
Two thousand five hundred children from the driest and most impoverished regions in North-Eastern Brazil benefit from the OMUNGA libraries.
LUANDA - ANGOLA
The Book Project for Africa
One thousand six hundred children in Luanda, the capital of Angola, can benefit from a new space for reading.
